We experienced it while working in home improvement. We experienced it while building homes. We experienced it while developing residential real estate. We experienced it while working with subcontractors.

Different projects. Different companies. Different roles. The same frustration. Finding the right people was often harder than doing the actual work.

We Kept Seeing the Same Problem

As builders and developers, we spent countless hours searching for professionals. We called friends. We asked for referrals. We searched online. We reviewed websites. We checked qualifications. We collected bids. We followed up repeatedly. Every new project seemed to require starting the process all over again.

At the same time, we met outstanding subcontractors and service providers who struggled to get discovered. Many of them performed incredible work. Many had years of experience. Many were exactly the type of companies builders wanted to find. Yet they remained largely invisible outside of their immediate network.

That never made sense to us. On one side of the industry, people were searching for qualified professionals. On the other side, qualified professionals were searching for opportunities. Why was connecting them still so difficult?
